Mia was last seen in the closing company of Kinky Boots (ensemble/ u/s Lauren). She also enjoyed her wild and irreverent run in Forbidden Broadway: Comes Out Swinging! where she got to lovingly roast her favorite shows and Broadway legends. Mia was interviewed by Jerry Seinfeld on Good Morning America for her viral YouTube video “The Stanley Steemer Variations (by Mia).” She has also been heard as a soloist in concert with the Portland Symphony Orchestra and the Winston-Salem Symphony singing the songs of Rent, La Boheme, and Moulin Rouge under conductor Robert Moody. Her favorite roles include Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Natalie in Next to Normal, and Maureen in Rent.
Mia grew up singing in the Good News Gospel Choir under the helm of Chris Coogan. She served as a worship leader and soloist for Baptist churches all over Connecticut. Mia grew to love improvisational singing so much that she sang jazz regularly at Schwarz’s Point jazz club in Cincinnati, with Ed Moss’ Society Jazz Orchestra.
